Scope Personnel are happy to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Administrator based for a Main Car Dealership in Crawley.
This role will require you to work Monday - Friday
The basic salary is £27,000 with an OTE of £35,000
Considering candidates with motor trade admin experience or Service Advisors wanting to get into an Administrative position
Duties include;
- Based in Front reception, meeting and greeting customers in person and on the phone.
- Retail sales texting of jobs and to invoice standard.
- Weekly WIP check to ensure all jobs are located and correctly coded
- Obtain booking references and start up order numbers upon receipt of a vehicle, prior to work being carried out and final order numbers on completion of works.
- Liaise with the workshop controller to notify of work arriving in the workshop waiting to be commenced.
- Creating jobs for workshop and doing night board
- Planning of scheduled servicing
- Inform customers on the progress and completion of work.
- Ensure all keys passed through the reception area are correctly tagged with the vehicle registration.
- Monitor, log and control the use of the courtesy vans/company vehicles.
- Request and maintain insurance paperwork relating to those customers who use courtesy vehicles.
- Dealing with any resulting queries to completion via telephone or email and general office duties.
- Ensure the reception area is kept orderly, clean and tidy.
Previous experience in the same role or a similar role within the motor trade is essential.
