Deputy / Clinical Lead Nurse ( With Supernumerary Hours)

Hours Per Week - 40 (24 hours Supernumerary)

Up to £ 45,000 per year.

As the Deputy Clinical Lead, you will be an integral part of our experienced management team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care throughout the service. You will provide guidance and support to the multi-disciplinary staff team and contribute to the efficient management of the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake drug rounds and complete medical administration records accurately.
  • Develop staff skills and conduct staff appraisals as part of the keyworker system.
  • Ensure sufficient and appropriate staff allocation for each shift to meet residents' needs.
  • Report and record complaints, accidents, incidents, and untoward events following company policy.
  • Design, implement, and review care plans for new service users.
  • Carry out nursing procedures as necessary, such as wound care and pressure ulcer management.
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.


Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:
  • Possess a Registered Nurse Licence (RGN/RMN).
  • Have an active NMC PIN.
  • Hold a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
  • Effectively work as a senior RGN nurse for 2 days a week and serve as a Deputy Clinical Lead for 3 days a week.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and embrace challenges to make a difference in resident care.
  • Previous experience working with care plans in a nursing home setting is essential.
  • Physically involved in resident nursing care and ensuring individual needs are met with utmost care and attention.
